CORNISH-REX TEMPER.

Cornish Rex are probably the friendliest cats you will ever meet. They will greet you when you come over at the door in the same manner as dogs do it – putting their front paws on you. It is considered that Cornish Rex have dog’s temper. That means this breed is tied to its owner. They are extremely social cats that will howl and wait if there is a door separating them from their humans, the household activity, or the food.

Before selecting a Cornish Rex, you must first decide what you want in a cat. Do you want an elegant cat that will sit on your couch or a cat at the foot of your bed looking decorative? Or do you want an active cat that want to play with every possession you own? If it is the latter, the Cornish Rex just might be the cat for you.

Cornish Rex cats have high energy levels and therefore they might not be the right breed for everyone. As all cats Cornish Rex like to sleep and they do it with a pleasure about 20 hours a day. Although most Cornish Rex slow down with age, they are still more active than other breeds in their prime.

As we already know that Cornish Rex are extremely social they can not be left alone for long period of time. It could be recommended to buy two Cornish Rex so that they will each have a companion. You will have funny time watching playing Cornish Rex. I always wonder how Cornish Rex could invent new games. Probably, it is hard to find better entertainment watching TV. Cornish-rex intelligence attracts certain type cat’s lovers – those who are looking for understandable and loving friend which aspires to be equal and who does not want to be only “pet” but a full member of family.
